Along with counselling and providing advice on regulatory and quality topics, our local experts ensure that the strategies and solutions aligned with the central team are being implemented within the countries. Integrated into and connected with the various country organisations, our HSEQR teams are an important point of contact for our customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Environment and Sustainability

For IMCD, sustainability is at the heart of our business strategy. Since 1996, we have been participating in the worldwide "Responsible Care" initiative of the chemical industry. We are committed to respecting the environment and implementing our activities to protect it in a responsible manner. To this end, we have specifically implemented a sustainability management system.

Our sustainability performance and social measures are certified annually by the internationally renowned rating agency EcoVadis. IMCD meets the highest sustainability and social standards in all business areas and has received the Platinum Award, the highest accolade. As part of our ongoing commitment to social, safety and environmental protection, we produce our annual group-wide Sustainability Report. This also contains all the information about our local initiatives.
