OCTA-SOLIGEN ZINC 23

The primary function of zinc is to keep the paint film "open". This results in better through-drying - especially in the case of fast drying systems and baking systems - and prevents wrinkling and orange peel on the surface of the paint film. The drying time may be increased slightly. Zinc also improves pigment wetting and dispersion and thereby increasing the gloss and color-fastness of coatings. When added to the coating formulation at an early stage, it reduces the grinding time. As zinc is almost colorless, it can also be used in large amounts without discoloring the paint film.
