TEGOMER 6850

TEGOMER 6850 is an organomodified siloxane (OMS) on a polypropylene (PP) polymer carrier. TEGOMER 6850 provides benefits for advanced material applications. It does not cause thermal degradation or influence printability. TEGOMER 6850 prevents die build up and reduces cleaning needs. TEGOMER 6850 enhances throughput and reduces fraction during extrusion. TEGOMER 6850 improves COF and slip performance without corrosive degradation or release of fluorine compounds. TEGOMER 6850 is suitable to replace fluorine-based polymer processing aids to prevent shark skin appearance. TEGOMER 6850 prevents issues with release of fluorine compounds into the environment. TEGOMER 6850 can be used as additives in flexible food-contact polyolefin (PE, PP) in compliance with regulations. TEGOMER 6850 may be used up to 1000 mg/m2 food contact area, and as a PPA, TEGOMER 6850 is applied with a dosage between 0.5% and 2.0%, respectively.
