BABASSU OIL REFINED ORGANIC

BABASSU OIL REFINED ORGANIC is a refined oil obtained from babassu seeds by mechanical pressing, without solvents. It is highly rich in lauric acid, which is a much shorter fatty acid than usually found in vegetable oils. BABASSU OIL REFINED ORGANIC is therefore a good choice in hair care, considering its penetrating ability in the hair shaft and protection of the hair. It has a lower melting point, approx. 24 °C, compared to many other butters. Its melting behaviour can also generate a cooling effect on the skin. Furthermore, the fatty acid profile ensures a good oxidative stability. BABASSU OIL REFINED ORGANIC is COSMOS Organic and halal certified, and suitable for vegans.
